You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects involving multiple back-end systems.

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible to build code packages and/or coordinate the delivery of work packages through project planning activities to design, build, implement and support application platforms.

How You’ll Succeed Leadership Skills
– Act technically maturity in assessing, championing best coding standards and practices, moderate code-review sessions with the wider team for enterprise and industry standards to ensure project objectives are met.

Support and mentor other developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.

Design and Development
– Perform and coordinate complex application programming activities.

Design coding packages, utilities, and testing approaches to assigned activities.

Construct cost effective and innovative solutions.

Strategic Planning
– Advise on the industry evolving coding standards and its impacts to current product vision, strategy, and business objectives.

Who You Are You can demonstrate 3 experience in: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc), XML/JSON, JWT and GIT.

You must have an experience with Object Oriented Design, Domain Driven Design, RESTFul web services, and if you have written JUnit Test, SOATest, Parasoft assets.
